Festival aCAPE'lla

No matter where or when we live, singing, whether solo or with others, has always been part of our culture.
Ettelbruck €15

We use our voices to convey emotions and messages. The timbres of these natural musical instruments are unique and reveal their complexity. What makes singing fascinating above all is simply the infinite possibility of modulating the same voice, capable of replacing even a musical instrument such as drums or bass. Today, a cappella singing offers a repertoire that goes far beyond traditional religious songs without instrumental accompaniment: from Gregorian chant to folk and pop music, rap and beatbox, this original discipline has revealed all its facets. A CAPE'lla, the only festival of its kind in Luxembourg, has been organised every two years since 2016. Through a series of concerts and workshops, CAPE aims to popularise this art form with an eclectic programme to delight all ages.

Find the detailed program for each workshop in the Agenda section of our website.
