Sarah Rieker is a freelance musician, accomplished singer and pianist, and works as a music educator, vocal coach and choir director. Together they will take you on a musical journey. We will cross several continents, while taking a few detours into space spheres with instruments that strongly resemble flying saucers called "Handpan" and "Tongue-drum".
The fabulous space of the St. John the Baptist Church in Bech, with its architectural beauty and generous acoustics, will serve as the vessel to begin this journey.
During the event you will be invited to join the musicians with your voices to form a large choir. Songs have been specially chosen for this exercise.
The repertoire, which includes songs from the indigenous traditions of Latin America, mantric songs from India and songs written especially for the singing circles, will be accompanied by chords, harmonium and percussion instruments.
The particularity of this repertoire is the intention to generate an atmosphere of comfort, benevolence and harmony.
This event is an opportunity to experience the sound space of the church which invites us to raise our voices.
