In a Circle Song, all participants stand in a circle and follow the musical input of the leader. As they do so, the musical material changes and instant compositions are created.
In Circle Songs, everything revolves around the elements of rhythm, sound and improvisation. Short musical phrases are repeated and developed through improvisational means.
Popularized as a vocal discipline by Bobby McFerrin over 20 years ago, the Circle Song is a powerful ritual form for generating collective musical energy and connection within the group.
You will be guided by Nicolas Billaux.
